38 year old mother, killed by a truck on her bike... -

This is terrible news… Jenna Morrison was killed by a truck while biking in Toronto yesterday morning. She was a 38 year old mother. I cannot imagine the devastation her family is going through. 
Although bike lights may not have prevented this, it is another harsh reminder to please BE SAFE WHILE RIDING (that means skateboards, longboards, bicycles, even walking!) 
You cannot control the negligent drivers in the city, but you CAN be aware of your surroundings and steer away from it.

After the loss of our dear friend Aaron Beamish, I realized that things needed to change. I believe that everyone has purpose in life and he fulfilled ours with music, and happiness. There are times I look back and I realized he was more then just an average man. I woke up this morning feeling empty like something was missing and now that I think about it, that feeling is multiplied by all the people who were impacted by his life. So I guess we had all woke up this morning with the same feeling… loss. So I came up with this idea while riding my bike to work. I want to bring awareness to all the skateboarders/bikers to be bright and wear lights. I hoping this campaign can impact our lives as much as Aaron did. We can’t afford to lose another friend like him. So if you could please spread the word about “BE BRIGHT WEAR LIGHTS” and invite people to join this group. I was also thinking of having a show in honour of him. I know that if we all work together we can make this possible. I have already contact the media about this idea and contact several different companies to sponsor this idea. I was hoping that if we get a sponsorship, we could give out bike lights for free. Please feel free to leave any comments or ideas to make this a reality. Lets make the loss of our friend Aaron something positive, and keep his spirit alive for we know that he brightened ours.R.I.P Aaron “Arsenic” Beamish ♥
